Peyote, Odd & Even

Ethnic Pendant_2Peyote stitch is the basis for so many beading projects, and I feel it’s a must-know stitch for anyone tackling beadweaving.  This is a “techniques” class for beginning beaders, or those who want a refresher.

We will cover even and odd count flat peyote, adding/ending thread, zipping, and if time allows, increasing and decreasing.

Graphs for the pendant and tubular beads shown in the picture are included in the class handout as a “challenge” project.  This is an ongoing recurrent class, offered the first Wednesday of each month.

This class has been revamped into two separate classes – Peyote 101 and Peyote 102 The pattern for the pendant and tube beads will be available for purchase soon!
