“Ojo de Luna” was designed exclusively for the Fall 2019 Heart of Texas Bead Retreat.
The “Eye of the Moon” is nestled in a 3-D crater formed with peyote stitch. I love graphic patterns and these really capture the Heart of Texas (check out the star in the middle of the back, along with the heart motifs). But, when you view from the front, you see a linear diamond pattern because of the “crater”. You can use the Luna cabochon, which inspired the name of the project, or a Czech backlit cabochon looks great too. This is a really fun piece to make!
